WELCOME TO THE DUKE'S HEAD
A grand Victorian grade II listed building that has watched over the River Thames in Putney for nearly 150 years. Sitting at the start of the Oxford and Cambridge University Boat Race, she has enjoyed this uniquely British battle of the oars for over a Century.
With bright, riverside views the versatile private
hire spaces within the pub are ideal for social events such as birthdays, engagement parties and christenings. Whether you’re looking to host your wedding, a corporate meeting or simply enjoy the river views, the Dukes Head ticks every box. Follow us downstairs into the Rowing Club, the social hub of Putney. Live music, DJ’s, and delicious BBQ street food means this is the only place you want to spend your weekends on the river. Sip one of our signature Duke’s cocktails, grab a pint from our craft beer selection and take a seat in the sun.
