The Cream Cracker soul night is run by Mr Kev Such, the Cracker prides itself on Northern and RNB and is a favourite venue for a number of soulies in the area and also from outside of the area as well.
As you will see from the photo's another great turn out at the Cracker.
The Kev Such Story
It all started for me when i went to the Fleet at
Fletton about 1982. There was a scooter rally being held there and i went
with the Daventry Scooter Club. While there i was in the room out the
back dancing to the MOD tunes when my very good friend at the time, Mr
Paul Matthews came and grabbed me and said "come watch this". I went into
the next room with him and saw a rather portly chap dancing on his own
in the middle of the floor to a tune that sounded, to me, like Motown.
I WAS BLOWN AWAY.
Another good night at the cracker
Thats how it all started for me and i have never gotten tired of the
music in the 26 years i have been into it.
